What about the plot? 18th century, on an island that's part of French Britain. Héloïse must marry an Italian noble she doesn't know. Part of the courtship is to send her portrait, and she refuses to pose. Héloïse's mother hires Marienne, a (rare, at the time) woman painter who becomes her lady in waiting and has to watch her in order to be able to paint her without her knowledge.
How good it is? It's a beautiful love story with beautiful scenery, I loved it and I loved the mythological references. Cette entrée a été crosspostée au https://flo-nelja.dreamwidth.org/692012.html. Commentez où vous voulez.
